What we train
Speed isn’t just for sprinters. Closing down a 50-50 ball. Beating a defender to space. Recovering when a play breaks down. The ability to get there first changes every sport. It’s the most universal physical attribute in athletics, and one you can improve through training.
But straight-line speed alone rarely wins. Real performance is change of direction, reactive footwork, the ability to absorb force and explode in a new direction. Agility is what turns raw speed into something that shows up on the field, and it’s where most athletes have the most room to grow.
None of it sticks without the right mindset. Programs athletes embrace, not endure. The willingness to believe in the process and the discipline to keep showing up. The confidence to compete when it matters. Mindset isn’t something we teach in a session. It’s woven through every interaction, every drill, every assessment.
For clubs & high school teams
The Team program takes our full speed, agility, and mindset methodology to your entire roster, scaled to squad size and built around your season. Same coaching approach, same standards, applied at scale.
Our approach
Built and run by Evan McKay, a Certified Personal Trainer with a psychology background and 15 years of working with youth in schools and sports, ensures there is a focus on acknowledging the uniqueness of each athlete.
Every athlete starts with a full assessment. From there we build a custom program, which through the CoachMePlus app, individuals can track their metrics, follow their programs and record their progress.
Speed, agility and reaction assessments give us a clear picture of where an athlete is, but the qualities that matter most over time, like awareness, composure, and decision-making, never show up on a clipboard. We train the whole athlete.
